What a nice tribute to a fantastic character (who, sadly, was utterly ruined by his mishandlers in the twenty-aughts). I haven't bought comics in 20 years, but I'd buy this series in a New York minute. The lighter touch on both your Dibny covers, the lack of overshadowing, the simpler and more imaginative art-style is exactly what's missing in today's superhero comics. There's just a good solid sense of story in these two pictures. Thank you, Kyle.
Hi, I'm Rafa Rivas. I selected your two Elongated Man drawings along the best fan art of the character to be featured in an article of the the "Ralph Dibny, the World-Famous Elongated Man, blog" (that's [link]). It is properly credited to you and includes a link to your Deviantart portfolio (which will hopefully contribute positively to your traffic). Please reach me at that article's comment section if you want me to take it off or modify the information that I captured or if you have another drawing that I should put there.
Thank you! The color scheme comes from the 64 colors that comic books had in the mid 50's. It takes some noodling to work everything out so it looks nice, but when it's done it really has that vintage look.
